Hosted by Black Cat Fastpitch, a complete walk-through of the recruiting process from start to finish.  This workshop is an interactive presentation that covers, in vast detail, the rules and policies surrounding recruiting and the steps you need to take to smoothly navigate the process.  We'll talk about all of the hard questions: what should and shouldn't you do, what college coaches look for, communicating with college coaches, and being realistic about your search process.  We'll then hear from our panel - a mix of 2025 and 2026 committed athletes and their parents - about their recruiting story, how they chose their path, and how they made peace with their process.  They'll answer your questions, too.  Refreshments will be served.

This workshop is excellent for athletes in the graduating class of 2030 and older, but is open to all.  The intention of the workshop is educational and serves to ease your anxiety and questions regarding the recruiting process.

Quotes from last year's attendees:

"It's an excellent place to get started.  It really hits on all of the points you wonder about in your daughter's process, and it answered a lot of the questions I had that I couldn't find on the internet."  -John Albarone, parent of a 2026 pitcher

"The presentation was extremely detailed and organized, and flowed smoothly.  Hearing from the panel was incredible - I hope my daughter was listening during that portion.  The athletes and families that spoke really put the process into perspective, and taught my family that staying level headed and realistic was something we needed to work on to best support our daughter."  -Samantha Deginerio, parent of a 2027 catcher/IF

"I really didn't know where to start thinking about what types of schools I wanted to attend.  The presentation helped me understand an easy way to start thinking about what type of school I might want to go to, and how to target those schools in my recruiting process.  It also made me feel better about the timing of recruiting, and how the September 1st date isn't as realistic as I thought it would be."  -Ava Murray, 2027 OF
